For families hoping to thoroughly immerse themselves in the well-heeled, laid-back lifestyle of The Golden Mile, we have the perfect option. Puente Romano has cemented its reputation as one of Andalucia’s finest resorts thanks to its intimate, village character, and Linares 12 exemplifies every bit of this. Surrounded by Michelin-star restaurants, world-class tennis courts, and designer boutiques (all of which make leaving incredibly difficult), this fantastic apartment couldn’t be better situated for making the most of what’s on offer.
Indeed, Linares 12 is one of the hotel’s most sought-after apartments, discreetly tucked away on the edge of the botanical gardens next to a beautiful water fountain. Perhaps more importantly though, it is less than a minute away from the pool at Rachael’s Eco cafe (for a saltier dip, the beach is only 50 metres away). From either of the apartment’s two terraces, guests can look out over the garden’s pond – the ideal spot for an ice-cold sundowner. Alternatively, half a dozen bars are only round the corner (top tip: El Chiringuito does a fine Mojito).
Inside the apartment, open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas, remove the desire to dash down to the beach – think languorous coffee-heavy breakfasts, and casually getting ready for an evening out. Things don’t speed up much in the master bedroom either, where an en-suite glass-fronted bathroom makes soaking in the tub even more leisurely than usual.
